Salem Lilac and Tan French Bulldog Male | Adopted

Hi I’m Salem a lilac and tan French Bulldog male. He is older than these pics show. I am happy to do a FaceTime or google meet for you to meet him and see his current size. He is about 26lbs, taller, leaner build that will makes him more agile and able to go on walks. He will come with a transfer of ownership meaning you have 48 hours to take him to the vet to make sure he is cleared as healthy. He is pet only and no AKC papers will be provided (he is papered but you will not be receiving them). Dad, Nacho (27lbs) is lilac covered in cream creating that beautiful cream color. When they say covered it means you cannot see the lilac (grey color) . Bubbles, momma, (22lbs) is a beautiful lilac fawn merle with light eyes. Together they created me! Lilac and tan French Bulldogs must have two copies of the chocolate gene and blue genes to make lilac. Lilac Frenchies have light eyes. They are often blue as pups and turn a pretty yellowish green as they age. If they are merle, the pattern also affects eyes and their complete eye(s) or speckles of it may remain blue as an adult.

We do have opportunities to meet you part way or in your city such as in Santa Fe, Denver, Grand Junction, etc… for an additional fee.

We can arrange for your pup to be accompanied by a flight nanny as well to major aiports. Please note pups must be 12 weeks old for this option and flight must be paid ahead of time.

How did my pawrents make a Fawn Frenchie?

My daddy is a brindle and momma is a fawn. Together they made me!

Brindle French Bulldog Male Coloring

Two sets of genes can be inherited at this location known as Ky and Kbr. The Kbr gene is known as the brindle gene and is dominant over Ky. If they inherit one or two brindle genes Kbr then they will express brindling. But there is an exception….of course. We will see this exception on the a locus. Make sure to learn about brindles here. The Ky gene is known as the allowing gene. This means when two ky alleles are inherited it allows the A, D, and B locuses to determined the coat color of the Frenchie. Kbr interferes with these colors and you will see the brindling in them as well. You can think two ky alleles (ky,ky) produces solid pups and one or two brindle genes will add the brindling. Typically when someone says brindle they are referring to black brindle as we will for this article. But be aware that many of the other colors can have brindling in their coat such as lilac and blue.

My daddy Expresso Ollie (25lbs) is blue fawn. Minnie Merle our momma is a fawn merle (22lbs). Together they made us.

Blue and Tan French Bulldogs must have two copies of two copies of the blue gene and have one to two copies of the tan points gene on the A locus. Blue Frenchies have brown puppy dog eyes.

Hi I’m Sonoma a platinum French Bulldog female. I’m a sweet, docile little girl who also love to play with my toys. Watch my personality video below. I’m using a doggie door to go outside to go potty. My favorite things to do right now are play with my toys and eat my yummy food. I am eating Orijen kibble and freeze dried raw with probiotics and multivitamin added. I’m developing into a loving little girl. I sure hope my furever family likes snuggling. Dad, Nacho (27lbs) is lilac covered in cream creating that beautiful cream color. When they say covered it means you cannot see the lilac (grey color) . Bubbles, momma, (22lbs) is a beautiful lilac fawn merle with light eyes. Together they created me! I have two human brothers as well (6 & 8 years old). Since I’m growing up in the house, I am getting used to loud noises like watching TV, boys wrestling, and vacuum cleaners. I’m dreaming of a family who loves to snuggle and play with me. Platinum French Bulldog Coloring

Platinum Frenchies are a rare color. They’re a beautiful cream color but they have light eyes. The reason for this is they carry “lilac” genes. There’s two ways to make a platinum. One is to have two copies of the blue gene, “untestable” chocolate (now testable), and two copies of cream. Another way is to have two copies of the blue gene, two copies of testable chocolate, and two copies of cream. Sometimes you may hear they are lilac or Isabella covered in cream. Cream is dominates over the other coat colors. As they are a rarer color, you will often see this reflected in the pricing.

Blue Fawn Merle French Bulldog Male Coloring

We have blue Fawn Merle French Bulldogs in Colorado. Blue fawns merles are a fawn color with bluish haze over their fawn coat and dark mask with merle markings across their body. Some may have white markings down their nose, neck, or toes. Blue fawn merles have brown puppy dog eyes.
