Text me your plan ahead of time so I have everything ready when you arrive and we're not sorting it out with a puppy in your arms.
Your puppy is eating a specific combination right now, and changing it the same week they change homes is how you end up with a week of loose stool.
You'll go home with a couple of days' worth of the Carna4 kibble and a couple of days' worth of the probiotic, so there's a small cushion — but order more before pickup so it arrives before that runs out.

Your puppy needs to be seen by your vet within four days of pickup to keep the health guarantee active. Book it now, before pickup day — good clinics fill up, and four days goes fast.
Half kibble, mixed with lightly cooked beef medallions, sprinkled with a soil-based probiotic. Keep this exactly the same for the first two weeks. If you want to transition to something else, do it slowly after your puppy has settled in.
The kibble
Air-dried whole food nuggets. The smaller nuggets are easy for puppies to chew.
Get the Venison recipe specifically. Carna4 makes several formulas and they aren't interchangeable — venison is what your puppy is already eating. The link below goes straight to the right one.

This is your first hour together, and I'd encourage you to use it. Your puppy has just left everything familiar, and being held by a calm person is the fastest way to tell them they're safe with you. That drive does more for bonding than most of what happens in the first week.
How to set it up, depending on who's coming:
Bring a towel or two regardless — car rides and brand-new puppies don't always agree with each other.
Go to the vet appointment you already scheduled. It needs to happen within four days of pickup, and keeping it is what keeps your health guarantee active.
