Black Merle French Bulldog Male Coloring

Black Merle French Bulldogs must have two copies of the ky (allowing) gene on the K locus to allow for the solid black color and have one copy of the merle gene. Black Frenchies typically have brown puppy dog eyes but the merle pattern may also affect the eye color and you will sometimes see splotches or the whole eye as blue.

He is also 4 panel clear for his genetic health testing which is good for our genes. Maddie our momma is a lilac fawn merle (20lbs). Together they made me a lilac fawn female Frenchie.

Lilac fawn French Bulldogs must have two copies of the blue gene, two copies of the chocolate gene, and one or two copies of the fawn gene in order to be this beautiful yellowish Champagne color. They have light eyes and I particularly how much their eyes just pop against this fur color. They are strikingly beautiful!

Happy Frenchie Friday

Hi all, happy Frenchie Friday! Hope you and your Frenchies are all staying warm. We’ve had a cold winter so far this year and I’ve found my Frenchies really don’t care for it.

We did have a full week starting with my cousin Jim and his wife Reann coming to visit. Of course the Frenchies totally believed they came to see them.

Trenton received an award for perseverance at the school character assembly.

After the assembly, this sweet family picked up their baby girl Ivory now Cocoa.

The Frenchies got more snuggles from Reann.

Momma never hugs us enough Reann. Can we come live with you?

And let’s get in a long snooze session.

Brady, Brantley, and Diego got lots of time in the morning to romp around and play. All three boys are available and come pre-spoiled.

And of course get a few snuggles in. Brady offering Tytan a few kisses.

To return back home to watch the Frenchies wrestle.

My other cousin happened to be passing through. Jewels has Brandon wrapped around her little paw.

But she now has competition with Fiona.

When they left guess who went with them? Two of my favorites…Autumn and Aspen. They’re the sweetest girls. I knew they hadn’t place for a reason and it’s because they were meant to be theirs. Meet Jim & Reann as they will be the the new location for Frenchies in the midwest. I can’t wait to share the website with you all but it’s not quite done yet. Hoping for next week. Jim and I lived with my grandparents as kids. If you’ve heard me say this before, I’m a third generation breeder. We were put to work by grandma cleaning up and caring for the pups. I’d say Jim knows a thing or two about raising pups and Reann provides lots of love.

How did my pawrents make a Fawn Merle Frenchie?

My daddy Ol’Boy (20lbs) is a black merle. My momma is a brindle (25lbs). Together they made me a fawn merle Frenchie.

Black Merle French Bulldogs must have two copies of the ky (allowing) gene on the K locus to allow for the solid black color and have one copy of the merle gene. Black Frenchies typically have brown puppy dog eyes but the merle pattern may also affect the eye color and you will sometimes see splotches or the whole eye as blue.

Happy Frenchie Friday

Hi all it’s Frenchie Friday! It finally feels like its starting to settle down after so many holidays. We have one last thing to do which is celebrate Tytan’s 8th birthday party tomorrow at Dart Wars with his two legged friends. Sorry Frenchies. You can’t come. 🙂

Last weekend we got away for a day to Pagosa Springs. On his way, little Everest met his new family in Saldia. He snoozed the whole way there.

His new family was happy to finally hold him in their arms.

We stayed in our favorite bed & breakfast, Elkwood Manor. As can be seen, Odilla and Jim are wonderful hosts and spoil us while we’re there. We highly recommend it if you’re making a visit to Pagosa Springs.

Also, the boys went skiing for the first time and are officially B level skiers now.

In addition, when we arrived back Conrad’s new momma picked him up. She said what I say about the lilac fawn colors, “The pictures don’t do him justice.” He is a beautiful boy and we’re happy he’s found someone to love him forever.

Groot and Diego look like they don’t like the idea of being forced to be friends. Hehe! Diego would be great in a home with kiddos to play with. He is such a good boy who wants to be with his humans.

Grootsie found his furever family. I am so happy and truly feel like they are perfect match for this little guy.

The boys set up a challenge to not leave this space until daddy got home, and of course, Fifi decided she should join them too.

Little Ian just might be perfect. Look at this little guy. Such a dapper little guy.

He loves spending his days playing with his toys. He his available but I predict not for long. Check out more cute pics of him on his page on a the website.

Meet Jasmine. This little lady bug is the only girl I have available right now. She is a cutie pie. Nice and compact and sweet.

Her brother Juneau is tiny and compact and is developing a cute entertaining personality as well.

I always love seeing pups in their homes living their best life. Looks like little Bosco (formerly Eugene) is fitting right in.

*Many families drive from areas such as Albuquerque, Santa Fe New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Texas, and Nebraska to pick up their puppies in Colorado Springs. We can also meet you at the Colorado Springs airport but please confirm schedule before booking flight.

For New Mexico families, I travel to Alamosa often and we can arrange to meet here to decrease your drive time.

We do have opportunities to meet you part way or in your city such as in Santa Fe, Denver, Grand Junction, etc… for an additional fee.

We can arrange for your pup to be accompanied by a flight nanny as well to major aiports. Please note pups must be 12 weeks old for this option and flight must be paid ahead of time.

How did my pawrents make a Lilac Fawn Merle Frenchie?

My daddy Nacho (26lbs) is a platinum lilac carrying testable chocolate. This means we have a 50% chance to carry testable chocolate as well. He is also 4 panel clear for his genetic health testing which is good for our genes. Maddie our momma is a lilac fawn merle (20lbs). Together they made me a lilac fawn female Frenchie.

Lilac Fawn Merle French Bulldog Female

Lilac fawn French Bulldogs must have two copies of the blue gene, two copies of the chocolate gene, and one or two copies of the fawn gene in order to be this beautiful yellowish Champagne color. They have light eyes and I particularly how much their eyes just pop against this fur color. They are strikingly beautiful!
