Happy Frenchie Friday

Happy Frenchie Friday and Happy New Year, early! We’ll be ringing in the new year with our Frenchies at home as we do each year. Tytan’s birthday is January 1st so we have another reason to celebrate as well. We hope you and your Frenchie(s) enjoy your celebrations this weekend.

Back to last week the Frenchies and kiddos had a great time celebrating Christmas and giving Frenchie kisses while snuggling on the couch in the morning.

All Frenchies and boys were tucked in tight before Santa’s arrival. Tytan really loves his FiFi.

Are all of these presents for us?

Wow those Minecraft sliders look great to chew on. I can’t wait until you don’t put them away.

Look at that! That looks like a fun chew toy.

Finally, something for me! The boys gave the pups hamburger and French fry toys.

I’m exhausted and thirsty. I’m gonna try to suck milk out of Maddie. Nope, she’s not my mom and I’m way to old but I’m going to try anyway.

It was good to see this past pup living her best life soaking up the Christmas love and snuggles this season.

Little Brookie Brook joined her new family. Her new dad picked her up.

I think one little girl was quite happy about her Christmas surprise.

Looks like the rest of the family is quite smitten too.

I have a few boys looking for homes. They are sweet beyond measure. If I could keep all of the Frenchies I’d keep them too but my husband says no. 🙂 It may not reflect on the website yet but each of these little guys (Diego, Brantley, & Brady) are reduced to $3900. They also come with beautiful waterproof blanket ($120 value), shampoo, paw/nose butter, and toy.
This is Diego. He reminds me of Romeo when he was a pup. Diego wants to be with you . As soon as you hold him he just melts into you.

Brady and Brantley are both sweet little guys. They’re brothers and have similar personalities. They love to play and then enjoy a long snuggle. Here they are snuggling in their bed. Brady the little guy looking at the camera has the traditional light grey muzzle. Brantley is a maskless lilac fawn. I always lilac fawns are my favorite color and are even prettier in person. These guys have grown up in my living room and do great at their litter box training.

Happy Frenchie Friday

Merry Christmas and a happy Frenchie Friday to you and your Frenchies! It’s crazy its Christmas time with the end of the year so near. We love spending Christmas Day sitting around the living room with a fire going and the Frenchies chewing on their new toys…oh and the boys playing with their new toys as well. 🙂 How will you and your Frenchie spend your Christmas Day?

It’s been a crazy week. Hoss and I drove through Kansas. He made quite the good little travel buddy.

He joined his furever family.

He’s enjoying his life with his new Frenchie sibling. Always makes us know we’re doing something right when we have return Frenchie members adopting their second pup from us. 🙂

The boys started their Christmas break so the Frenchies have been getting extra attention whether they like it or not.

Life with multiples Frenchies around is always entertaining. Diego really loves his time playing around with “big” Frenchies.

These guys have had lots of morning snuggles. Little Brookie gets to join her family tomorrow. 🙂 Brady, Brantley, and Diego are available.

Frenchie Friday December 16th, 2022

Happy Frenchie Friday

Hi all, happy Frenchie Friday! I hope you’re having a happy Friday with your Frenchie. It seems like I keep writing these later and later in the day. playing with their new toys as well. 🙂 How will you and your Frenchie spend your Christmas Day?

This kiddo was sent home because his tummy hurt. When I arrived he acted like he could barely move and was absorbing all the attention he could for being “sick.” When he arrived he shared his crackers with the Frenchies.

And was doing headstands within minutes of entering the doorway. Looks so sick, right?

Both boys are obsessed with Fiona who we call FiFi. She get all kinds of attention whether she likes it or not.

Current situation. We eat, breathe, sleep, and watch TV with Frenchies.

In case you ever wondered what a box of Frenchies looks like here you go. Brady, Brantley, and Diego (sleeping) are available.

Fiona is such a baby and Maddie (not her momma) entertains her as she thinks she thinks she should still suckle.

Autumn is one I absolutely love. She’s a little hefty but has the most laid back loving personality. I think of her as a baby bear cub. She is available but I honestly won’t be disappointed if she stays here with me. I lover her little personality.

Groot is a goof and always has his tongue hanging out. What a quirky little guy. 🙂 Here’s a comparison of Aspen vs Groot yawning (both available).

Frenchie Friday December 9th, 2022

Happy Frenchie Friday

Happy Frenchie Friday! Hope you are all staying warm with your little Frenchies by your side. I’m sitting by the fireplace surrounded by Frenchies warming their ears with gentle snorts in the background. Maddies litter is officially 10 weeks old tomorrow and are beginning to join their new homes.

This was their last play session together with momma Maddie.

This morning they got in their last snuggles as a group.

Miss Brookie loves playing with her big mouthed big half sister.

Bali was the first lucky girl to join her furever family today. 🙂 They have 3 little girls and are loving her.

I always loved watching her sleep as she always loved laying belly up.

I tell these boys all the time they are so lucky to be able to wake up to Frenchie snuggles. They of course don’t believe me.

And then there’s the daily entertainment.

And the being driven to school with a car load of Frenchies. It’s literally the highlight of their day and the one time they can listen with those big ears.

Frenchie Friday December 2nd, 2022

Happy Frenchie Friday

Every friday is a Happy Frenchie Friday here! I can’t believe Thanksgiving has passed and Christmas is just around the corner. Another thing I can’t believe is Maddie’s litter of pups are ready to join their new homes next weekend.

Romeo is pretty happy as he’s a grinch and doesn’t like “children.” We have a countdown for Christmas. Romeo has a countdown for pup departure. 🙂

If I turn my back, they aren’t there.

Ugh. Their presence is still bothering me. I’m gonna get out of here.

Everywhere I go, there they are. All I want for Christmas is some peace and quiet around here.

These three are all related. It’s almost like they know it.

They decorate for Christmas and made me wear this stupid hat. I feel like this goes against my Frenchie rights. What do you think? Do I have a case?

I had a day I was super sleepy and gave myself permission to lay around. Brady made quite a nice little snuggle bunny. He is still available at the moment. Lilac fawn is my favorite color and are even prettier in person.

I am currently out of town for the weekend for a low key girls trip. But don’t worry I still am surrounded by Frenchies. They recently got a kitty so they are quite entertained.

Frenchie Friday November 25th, 2022

Happy Frenchie Friday

Happy Frenchie Friday! We hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving turkeys and maybe even your Frenchies got a bite or two. Our each got a bite which of course they felt like it wasn’t enough. 🙂

We stayed at home to celebrate and my dad, sister, and her boyfriend joined us. Tytan, Romeo, and Fiona woke up early so they could be helpers in the kitchen. I’m not sure how helpful the four legged ones were. Maybe our floors were cleaner with their presence. 🙂

Brady and Brantley enjoyed some extra snuggles and playtime with Sage.

Can she come live with us please? These two boys are available and ready to join their new home December 10th or later.

Fi was Tytan’s good luck charm for battleship.

In this line of work it’s a good thing we like be homebodies. The Frenchies appreciate it to as they get lots of snuggle and play time. Trenton enjoying time playing with Diego. He gets to join his furever family tomorrow morning.

Fiona is the favorite princess pooch in the house. The boys fight over who gets to hold her. Here she is getting love from Tytan.

Brady and Brooklyn were requested for a photo by these two. Brooklyn just found her furever family yesterday. Brady has the cutest coloring as he is a lilac fawn so he is a champagne color with light eyes.

It’s not surprise we sat around watching movies today. Dutchess found a comfy spot.

Frenchie Friday November 18th, 2022

Happy Frenchie Friday

Hi, happy Frenchie Friday, everyone! I can’t believe Thanksgiving is around the the corner. We are actually headed to Friendsgiving here in an hour or so. I am the type that starts Christmas movies the day after Halloween which the Frenchies get fully exposed to them as well.

Here’s my current pile of Frenchie pups. Aren’t they the cutest!?!

Frenchie Friday November 11th, 2022

Happy Frenchie Friday

Hi all! We’ve done a lot of snoozing, playing with our toys, and puppying around here this week. When I say we that does not include me but hey at least I get to watch them snooze which is pretty fun.

I can’t believe Maddies puppies are 6 weeks old tomorrow. It seems just like yesterday they were just born. They get daily snuggle and play time on the floor with me while the whole family is gathered around the TV watching something. Fiona is a gentle big sister to them and Maddie is happy to have a babysitter.

Finally I can get a nap. ~Maddie

The boys love cuddling with them too. This is Brady!

Mr. Brantley appears to be a maskless lilac fawn. Notice his nose area is the same color as the rest of his fur instead of a grey color. He’s also has a slightly reddish hue. It’s like he’s a strawberry blonde. 🙂

Little Bali loves her new flamingo toy. She just found her new home this week but is staying here until she is big enough to join them. Her sister Baja will be a Christmas present for a sweet family here in Colorado.

The boys wanted to make cookies. Look who else is begging for some. Don’t worry through they didn’t get any.

Charlie Brown is quite the little sweetheart. He’s not on the website yet as I’ve been behind. I love his laid back personality and he’s always the one finding his way to snuggle with me on the couch.

He’s totally fine with any warm body that snuggles. This is Ms. Ava.

Ava and her sister Autumn love to play. They are both so sweet I said I’d keep them both but DeMarco wasn’t thrilled. He says I can’t keep them all. I don’t know why not.

Their sister Angel left this week to a lovely couple. She has a Frenchie brother and two pug siblings.

Their other sister Abba (now Miso) joined their family too. I’ve loved working with this family as it is the second time they’ve trusted me to help find their Frenchie match. Such a sweet family.

Frenchie Friday October 21st, 2022

Happy Frenchie Friday

Hi, happy Frenchie Friday all! It’s been quite a week! We’ve had our hands full with working with pups at different stages needing different types of attention and training. Ms. Sushi and Saya are joining their furever home with their new daddy this evening.

They worked on walking on a leash this week. They first started with Lessie joining them so she could show them the ropes and how it’s done. They did great!

And were also very happy to be home.

I think I’ll take a nap and recover right here.

These girls believe this couch belongs to them.

We have a heater hog in the house. Who else has one? This is Cypress.

Cypress and Cabo are the snuggle team. We’re here for our snuggles. They’ve been given their own litter box this week to start working on litter box training. They’ve been hitting it about 50% of the time which I feel is pretty good for just having it a day. Maybe by next week they’ll be at 70-80%. 🙂 I’ve found most pups are naturally drawn to it if given the opportunity. These boys are available.

These little guys have been keeping me on my toes or at least out of my bed sleeping next to them. We have one girl who’s had the sniffles and I’m thankful I basically have a full ICU Frenchie set-up to care for her. We have an incubator, oxygen concentrator, nebulizer, snot sucker tools, and more. It’s amazing when you invest in the right equipment you can implement protocols quickly and keep your pups healthy.

And enjoyed a break at the park. This is their last day here with us as they get to join their new dad this evening. We will miss these girls but are happy for them to have found their family.

Happy Frenchie Friday

Hi all, happy Frenchie Friday! The new babies are doing great! They’re looking more and more like butterballs each and every day.

I’ve rearranged furniture to make it more pup user friendly. I’d say they all love it. Sushi likes teasing the boys, Cypress & Cabo, with the fact that she can jump up on the couch and they can’t.

If we can’t get on the couch, then we’ll just snuggle right here. Cypress is the one on the left and Cabo is on the right.

Saya thinks this is the life. Oh, and I found my furever family this week! I’m just waiting to join my daddy next weekend.

I believe this is my couch now! It’s the same color as me so it’s mine.

Frenchie Friday October 7th, 2022

Happy Frenchie Friday

Hey all, happy Frenchie Friday! We’ve made it! I’m exhausted from a week of very interrupted sleep from our sweet little babies.

Here’s Momma Maddie on her way to the vet.

Our beautiful babies. 4 Females 2 Male. 5 Lilac fawns 1 Lilac Merle (this one is a girl) We are in love! They are Christmas puppies meaning that’s when they’ll be ready. Make sure to check out their page for more pics/videos and watch them grow.

All babies are eating well and have gain at least 4 ounces. Pups are weighed daily to make sure they are growing. Tomorrow they’ll officially be one week old.

Don’t worry Momma Maddie is eating well too. Sometimes my husband looks at me like why don’t you cook food like that for me. 🙂

Jewels loves her food too!

I wrote a blog on the best dry dog foods for French Bulldogs. That’s part of the reason I am writing this so late. I realize not everyone loves being in the kitchen as much as I am for our four-legged friends and humans.
Jewels doesn’t thinks it’s that great to have babies in the house and being expected to spread the attention.

But she and her daughter Fiona have been able to get in a lot of playing time. Love this little blooper. She looks so much more vicious than she really is.

Miso has found her furever home and is enjoying chewing her buffalo horn while she waits for her big pick up day on Sunday.

Trenton has been working with the older pups to teach them to be on a leash and come.

Making sure everyone feels like part of the family. Saya is still waiting for her furever family. She’s a sweetheart and has been reduced to $2900. If you’re looking for a reserved, sweet girl she just might be the one.

Frenchie Training:

I have seen the need for behavioral training for Frenchies over the past few months and I couldn’t ignore it anymore and signed up to get certified as a dog trainer. I believe Covid and so many first time dog owners really made a huge impact on our pups. New things are just scarier than they used to be for our previous generation of pups. Make sure to read the article below on how to train your Frenchie to listen. You’re given homework to help. Don’t worry it’s a small step that won’t take tons of time. 🙂

Frenchie Friday September 30th, 2022

Happy Frenchie Friday

I can’t believe happy Frenchie Friday is already here. We’ve been busy this past week. Maddie has been cooking her babies and will have her c-section tomorrow late morning. For those who like the breeding information behind it. I have a progesterone machine at home. I draw her blood from her arm (about 1ml), spin it down so I can the plasma separates out, draw up the plasma sample, and run it in the machine. She was a 4.4 yesterday and dropped down to a 2.8 today. Typically you want under 2 to have pups. She will most likely be there tomorrow and it will be 63 days from her ovulation which is typically the perfect amount of time for babies to come. Pics to come!

Maddie has had lots of time this week getting her snoozing in so she’s nice and rested. My guesstimate is 4-6 pups in that belly.

We have carpet in our house in a few places like closets and bedrooms.When you have as many Frenchies as we have that is not the best option. We had some extra boxes of planks laying around and I decided to tear up the carpet in our closet and try my hand at laying vinyl plank flooring. I thought it would be easy since it was a small space but guess what it wasn’t as it has lots of weird angles. But I did it! Those of you who need to make the change, it really is a DIY if you so desire. That corner was my challenge but I learned it’s best just to get a piece of paper and stencil it. I got better with practice. Fortunately, the trim will cover it up any jagged ends. 🙂 Maddie and Jewels were my cheerleaders who sat and snoozed as I worked.

Miss Maisey, now Olive, found her furever family this past week.

She is the new sister.

And fitting in perfectly!

Saya and Miso are looking for their furever families but in the meantime they are having a great time playing with toys, eating, and being a part of our Frenchie clan.

Tytan had a fever at school so he had to come home early. He and Fiona enjoyed the day having a lazy day watching Minecraft.

Trenton thinks the pups are getting too much attention so he’s trying out being a pup himself.

As we have new pups coming tomorrow, I’ll likely be quite tired this week but plan on keeping you all in touch on how they are doing. I just helped Camry breed her two beautiful babies. I can’t wait to see pics. I totally failed on getting pics of her with her Frenchies but I will be sure to share pics when she shares them with me. 🙂
